Remsoft receives industry awards

Industry News

Remsoft has been included in the Gartner, Inc. report, “Cool Vendors in Green IT and Sustainability, 2011.” The report highlights “five vendors with value propositions that blur and expand boundaries.” According to the report authors, “The five vendors … are united by their ability to improve the operational efficiency of organizations, which they do by targeting different contemporary aspects of sustainable performance.”

“Business leaders are beginning to recognize that they must implement sustainable strategies – social, environmental and economic – for managing their businesses. There are significant gains to be had for those who get it right, and get it right early,” says Andrea Feunekes, co-CEO of Remsoft. “We believe this Gartner report serves as confirmation that Remsoft’s linear programming and analytical capabilities can help organizations find significant benefits through the long-term optimization of land-based and physical infrastructure assets.”

Remsoft was also recently named to the 2011 Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100. This year, the Supply & Demand Chain Executive award recognized projects that demonstrated strong leadership in supply chain excellence. The implementation of Remsoft’s flagship technology at one of the largest pulp manufacturers in the world was named one of the “100 Great Supply Chain Projects” of the year.

“To be included in the Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 is a great honor and it underscores the growing understanding of how long-term optimization of assets throughout their full lifecycle can benefit a company’s bottom line,” says Steve Palmer, co-CEO, Remsoft. “This recognition is further validation of the significant level of optimization our customers are able to achieve with Remsoft technology.”

Additionally, co-founder and co-CEO Andrea Feunekes was recently awarded the Special Recognition award at the 13th annual KIRA Awards ceremony. The KIRA (Knowledge Industry Recognition and Achievement) Awards are an annual recognition of the province of New Brunswick’s knowledge industry, hosted by Enterprise Fredericton.
