Stefan Karisch

Stefan Karisch

I look forward to the upcoming INFORMS Annual Meeting in Houston on Oct. 22-25, and I invite you to attend the business meeting of the Analytics Society on Monday, Oct. 23 from 6-7 p.m. At this meeting, we will review recent accomplishments, recognize the winners of our society-sponsored awards and hand over the leadership of the Analytics Society to the newly elected officers.

Our current vice president, Jack Levis of UPS, will become the new president of the Analytics Society. He will be joined by incoming officers Erick Wikum of Wikalytics (vice president), Margery Connor of Chevron (treasurer) and Olga Raskina of Juno Therapeutics (secretary). I want to thank outgoing officers Aaron Burciaga of Accenture and Subrat Sahu of Caterpillar for their leadership and many contributions to the Analytics Society.

The Analytics Society officers and I are hoping to see you in Houston, and both members and non-members of our society will be welcome at our business meeting.

– Stefan Karisch (stefan.e.karisch@boeing.com), president, Analytics Society of INFORMS
