Nominations due soon for Early Career Professionals’ Network event

Nominations are due Feb. 28 for graduate students or recent graduates seeking industry positions who are interesting in attending the Early Career Professionals’ Network (ECPN) event to be held April 15 during the INFORMS Business Analytics Conference in Baltimore. ECPN combines the former INFORMS Professional Colloquium (IPC) and Early Career Connections (ECC) events.

The ECPN event is a full-day workshop within the conference that consists of talks, panel discussions and role play sessions organized by analytics leaders and practitioners from diverse industry segments. The event presents the perspective of experienced practitioners who have bridged the gap from academia to industry and is designed to give attendees (who are either early in their career or soon to graduate) a jump-start with their analytics careers.

Please nominate graduate students or recent graduates (master’s or Ph.D.) who might benefit from this event. Nominations must include a letter of recommendation from a university advisor or employment supervisor. Those selected to attend (who will receive reduced price admission to the conference and potential financial aid based on sponsorship levels) will be notified on March 8.

For more information and to submit a nomination, visit http://meetings2.informs.org/wordpress/analytics2018/ecpn/. Direct questions to ecpn@mail.informs.org.
