The 2018 INFORMS International Conference will be held in Taipei, Taiwan, on June 17-20. The theme of the conference is “A Better World through O.R., Analytics and A.I.” The conference will showcase advancing trends in deep learning and their impact on business and society. Anyone interested in learning the latest technological advancements and industry trends from a global line-up of experts should attend. With more than 400 speakers and attracting about a thousand researchers and practitioners, the INFORMS International Conference is one of the largest international conferences in operations research and management science.

Tracks will span the full range of OR/MS specialties, including but not limited to financial technology, education, healthcare, maritime operations, retail services, sports and transportation. Through a series of widely diverse topics, the conference will help attendees discover advances in deep learning and artificial intelligence.

Program highlights include four plenary and keynote presentations from Christopher Tang, UCLA Anderson School; Richard C. Larson, M.I.T.; David D. Yao, Columbia University; and Dr. Shmuel S. Oren, U.C.-Berkeley. In addition to the technical tracks, plenaries and keynote presentations, the program also includes two receptions primarily focused on networking with international colleagues.

The conference will take place at the Grand Hyatt Taipei in the Xinyi District of Taipei. Taipei City is the political, economic, educational and cultural center of Taiwan Island. In addition to being a major hub of Greater China and part of a major high-tech industrial area, Taipei City is known for its many night markets featuring individual stalls selling a mixture of food, clothing and consumer goods.

Registration fees for this event start at $300 (U.S.) for students and retired attendees and $630 (U.S.) for INFORMS members.

If you are interested in submitting a presentation or attending the conference, visit the conference website (http://meetings.informs.org/2018international/) for more information.
