AIMMS and Wipro sign strategic global partnership agreement

AIMMS, a vendor of prescriptive analytics software, and Wipro Limited, a global information technology and consulting company, have joined forces in a strategic global partnership to help companies realize the benefits of advanced analytics with AIMMS-based applications.

Businesses are increasingly investing in cutting-edge analytics to drive competitive differentiation and innovation in their operations and supply chains, especially with the move towards digitization. Wipro is partnering with AIMMS to help companies further innovate their IT platforms by incorporating analytics, modeling and optimization capabilities in their offerings. This will help their customers identify growth opportunities and leapfrog competitors.

Through the partnership, Wipro’s teams will be better equipped to provide customers with embedded analytics, powering key decisions across their organizations, using the AIMMS Prescriptive Analytics Platform. It’s anticipated that the largest impact and cost savings will happen in supply chain innovation.

The partnership has kicked off to a strong start with several opportunities identified globally. There is considerable interest in the oil, gas and energy sector for these types of comprehensive solutions that include supply chain optimization and sophisticated logistics design.

“As the demand for advanced analytics increases, we search for best in class technology providers to deliver the benefits of our platform to customers, said AIMMS CEO Gijs Dullaert. “Wipro was an obvious choice. The company is globally recognized for their expertise. We are confident that this partnership will help us serve our joint customers and drive AIMMS adoption in new industries and markets.”
